The 5th Vietnam Textile Summit2019

Vietnam is now one of the largest textile exporting countries in Asia. Textiles and apparel are Vietnam’s third largest export products and have made outstanding contributions to the gross national product. In 2017, Vietnam’s garment industry exports totaled US$310, an increase of more than 10% compared to 2016. In 2018, the total export value of the apparel industry is expected to increase by 10% year-on-year, reaching about 34 billion US dollars. Recently, the European Commission has also approved the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, which will undoubtedly bring great benefits to the development of the Vietnamese textile industry and arrive in a new development peak.
